FCS convened for our first barbershop chorus contest this past weekend in Castro Valley. Performing "Come What May" and "Come Fly With Me"—both arranged by Kevin Keller—we sang our hearts out and were thrilled to walk away with a score of 81.9, narrowly winning a very close contest! Congratulations to all our fellow competitors on their performances. Looking forward to our next adventure!

On Saturday, March 26th, the Fog City Singers held our Debut Concert at the Kanbar Performing Arts Center in San Francisco. Highlights included an audience sing-a-long tag, a riffed throwback to The Lion King from our own Julian Kusnadi, a stunning guest performance from 2014 Bay Area Harmony Sweepstakes winners Prime Time, a little bit of Russian, and a heaping helping of Barbershop 7th chords. Thanks to all who attended or were with us in spirit!

On Saturday, March 5th, a contingent from the Fog City Singers braved the gusting rainfall and performed "What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor" (arr. Parker/Shaw) and "Come Fly With Me" (arr. Keller) at the Chantey Sing, a sing-a-long event held monthly on a boat at the Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco. It was an awesome experience - we hope the crowd enjoyed our singing as much as we enjoyed theirs!
